Injection Moulding: in safe hands atHamofa Injection Moulding.Even the most challenging injection moulding job will be developed to perfection by Hamofa Injection Moulding. We have led the field in plastic injection moulding techniques for decades. We have all the knowledge, machinery and technology in house to produce high-quality plastic injection-moulded parts and products. Craftsmanship, professionalism and service are the key points here.

Specialityof the house.

Plastic injection moulding has been Hamofa Injection Moulding’s speciality for over 25 years. Plastic injection moulding is the most widely used production method for making unique plastic products.

But what exactly isplastic injection moulding?

Injection moulding is the leading processing method for thermoplastics, which is a technical term for plastics. Plastic injection moulding - also known as injection moulding - involves melting down plastic granules or powder. We then inject this fluid mass under high pressure into a mould (pattern). Its cavity matches the shape of the desired product. The plastic solidifies as it cools down, giving the product its shape. After cooling, we separate the two mould sections to release the finished product.
Accordingly, a specific mould (pattern) is designed and made for each product. For production runs, this mould is then placed in the injection moulding machine. The desired product can then be made in shorter or longer production runs. Injection moulding is a production process that can be started up relatively rapidly with attractive pricing. This makes it an ideal production method for many purposes.

Advantages ofinjection moulding.

#01 High-speed and efficient production process

The injection moulding process enables to production start up and run in a relatively short timeframe. This applies to both short and long runs. Because we can fully automate the process with our advanced machinery, in addition to being efficient it also saves time and cost. Plastic is also a relatively low-cost production feedstock compared to other materials such as aluminium and steel.

#02 High quality and precision

The plastic injection moulding process is a production method in which dimensions and tolerances can be optimally controlled. The high accuracy and consistently high quality offer many opportunities to produce complex, detailed products. In addition, there is a low defect rate and little production waste - which reduces costs – as well as very little or no rework required.

#03 Wide-ranging applications

Injection moulds can be used to manufacture fairly complex plastic shapes. These can also differ in properties such as colour, texture, hardness or others. That is why injection moulding offers great design freedom and a wide range of application possibilities.

#04 High sustainability

The plastic injection moulding process is highly sustainable because there is little waste. Very high product consistency means that all products will have the same shape, quality, size and weight. As a result, only a low percentage of products will fail to meet the predetermined quality requirements.

#05 Light, strong products

As a material, plastic is both very light and strong at the same time. Compared to many other materials and production techniques, this brings about great weight savings, which in turn increases sustainability. This also means that products are easier to handle, package and transport.

What types of plasticcan you injection-mould?

The plastic injection moulding process uses thermoplastics: plastic granules that become plastic when heated. The most common thermoplastics are
• PA - Polyamide
• PP – Polypropene (polypropylene)
• PE – Polyethene (polyethylene)
• TPE – Thermoplastic elastomers
• POM – Polyoxymethylene (polyacetal)
• ABS – Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene

Each type of plastic has its own specific properties, applications and limitations. The plastic most suitable for your product will depend on predetermined technical requirements.

Factors that help determinethe cost of injection moulding:

• The number of plastics
• The plastic chosen
• The mould
• Machine costs
• Small-scale runs of plastic production

At Hamofa Injection Moulding, thanks to our experience and well-thought-out approach, we are also perfectly capable of carrying out small-scale runs of plastic injection moulding production at very attractive prices.
